What to Expect
Checking In Your Child
Please stop by the Kids Church welcome desk located at the main entrance to the school and register. We ask for the relevant contact information from the parents, details about the child and if there is any special snack instructions, allergy information or other special needs. The process takes about six minutes.
Your child will be given a sticky label name tag and you will receive a matching tag to be used for Junior Kid's pick-up. After the first time registration, only a phone number is required to check-in.
Once checked-in, one of our greeters will escort you to the appropriate room for your child.
When You Arrive At Your Child's Room
A leader will meet you and your child at the door to receive your child.
Saying Good-bye
As you drop off your child, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the worship service. As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time.
Our leaders will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return after the worship service is completed. If your child cries for an extended period of time, we will contact you.
Pick-up Procedures
Your child's leader will expect the same person to drop-off and pick-up each child unless special instructions are given at check-in. For Junior Kids we ask that the parents/guardians present the matching tag issued during check-in.
Lost and Found
Please make sure that all your child's personal items have been returned to you before you leave the premises. Lost and found items will be surrendered to the Discovery College guard room. If you forget something, retrieve it from there.
