Annual Bible Reading Plans
As January fast approaches, now is at the time to consider an annual Bible reading plan. Here are a few options:
- Discipleship Journal Reading Plan - John Piper recommends this plan because you only have to read five times a week, not every day. This allows time to catch up or take days off. It is available as a PDF or on the Youversion Bible App and the related website Bible.com.
- Bible Project Reading Plan - The Bible Project reading plan supplements the 7-day a week readings with helpful videos to provide an overview of each book of the Bible. You can follow this plan via a weekly email, a printed plan or on the Youversion Bible app/Bible.com. There is also a New Testament only version.
- Legionnaire Ministries 2021 Recommended Reading Plans - Here is a comprehensive list of potential annual Bible reading plans, along with the reasons you might choose each of them.
