Plug-in Fair

Our Plug-In Fair is on Sunday, 22 November. This is an opportunity to explore how God may lead you to serve. Visit the Discovery College foyer after church service, 11:30 am onwards.

List of available roles:
  • Basic set up
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 8-9am, helping set up and prepare for worship, children's ministry and other activities at Discovery College. Frequency: once a month.
  • Basic tear down
    • The opposite of "set up" - helping from 11:45-12:15 to take things down and put them away. Frequency: once a month.
  • Health check table
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:15, guiding people through the health screening process at the entrance of Discovery College. Frequency: once a month.
  • Greeters
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:15, greeting people as they enter for worship at Discovery College. Frequency: once a month.
  • Ushers
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:15, greeting people and guiding them towards seating options as they enter the Discovery College theatre for worship. Frequency: once a month.
  • Adult service camcorder operator
    • Assist on Sunday mornings during the service, operating the video camera. Frequency: once a month.
  • Adult worship service tech
    • Assist on Sunday mornings from 7-9, helping set up and prepare the A/V system for worship. Frequency: once a month.
  • Children’s ministry check-in
    •  Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:30, greeting people and checking in their children to our system, then guiding them towards the correct location for children's activities. Frequency: once a month.
  • Nursery assistant
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-11:30, helping with our nursery. Frequency: once a month.
  • JKC buddy
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-11:30, helping with Junior Kids Church (age 2.5-5 years). Frequency: once a month.
  • SKC buddy
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-11:30, helping with Senior Kids Church (age 5-10 years). Frequency: once a month.
  • Kid’s church tech
    • Assist on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:30, helping operate the A/V portion of Kids Church. Frequency: once a month.
  • Life group host
    • Open your home for small group gatherings. Frequency: twice a month.
  • DBICC buyer
    • Be willing to "go to town" during the week to pick up materials or purchase needed supplies. (Reimbursement included, obviously!) Frequency, once a month.
