DBICC Christmas "Line of Lights" Community Event

Join us as we light up Discovery Bay by participating in this special event.
On Saturday 4 December, we invite the church congregation and friends to create a "Line of Lights" on the main road in Discovery Bay.
LED candles and a link to carol music will be provided if you'd like to bring your own portable speaker. This first-of-its-kind event will be recorded and we can't wait to see what the "line of lights" will look like once the sun sets! Let's do something special for the DB community.
Invitation is open to all, invite your friends!
On Saturday 4 December, arrive at your position on Discovery Bay Main Road before 5:30pm (your number will be the same number as marked on the candle and will be marked on the side of the road with chalk). Switch on your LED candle at 5:30pm sharp. Listen to carol music while holding your candle, if people ask, invite them to our Christmas church service on 12 December or "A Night in Bethlehem" experience on 18 December. Smile for the camera and switch off the candle at 6pm.
Return the candle to church the next day or during the week at the church office.

Dec 11 Carols on the beach
On the 11th of December at 5pm, we will have an evening of carols and community at the North Plaza Beach. Please bring your own candles, picnic and blankets as families can get together before the singing begins at 6pm. You will receive a handout containing the lyrics of the Carols which will be played from a speaker. This is an intimate outing for DBICC families and close friends

Dec 18 A Night In Bethlehem

At A Night In Bethlehem, kids & families can explore the city at the time of Jesus' birth. Through some hands-on experiences, they'll find out the most important event ever - and learn that Jesus came to save us!

Dec 24 Christmas Eve at the Beach
Join us on Christmas Eve 6pm at Tai Pak Beach for a Christmas Eve service. We will meet at the picnic tables by the playground, don't forget to bring a flashlight!
Dec 26 Praise & Thanksgiving Service
Let us come together on Sunday December 26, 10 am at Discovery College for a worship service of praise & thanksgiving.
Dec 28 Evangel Skate Day

We are restarting our annual event with Evangel Children's home, we we sponsor a day of ice skating , lunch and fun! This is a great opportunity to get involved with a local charity. Please see our ECH page for more infomation.
