Who we are...
DBICC is first and foremost a Church under Jesus Christ and for Jesus Christ.
Christ is the head of the Church.
We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church, with historic roots going back to the time of the Reformation. The EFC exists worldwide today as a loosely knit body of churches, sharing a common statement of faith and a common desire to teach the good news of Jesus Christ.
More locally, DBICC is associated with the Evangelical Free Church of China. The EFCC was established in China in 1888. The first Hong
Kong church was planted in 1937. Of 40 local churches in the EFCC, DBICC is one of two english speaking congregations.
We are truly a community church. We are home to believers from many countries, church backgrounds and denominations. As an EFC church, we are governed by our members and free to invest our time and resources into our DB community. We want to be a church connected, as a family and extended church community. We want to be a church invested, serving the needs of our more immediate friends and neighbors.
